Supporters

We love what we do, and our audiences and artists love it too!

Junction Arts Festival is powered by the generous contributions of individual donors, local businesses, corporate partners and government funders who have helped us create a vibrant and engaging festival that supports a culturally and economically vibrant Launceston and Tasmania.

Junction has a particular focus on work that places the audience at the centre of the experience, through performances that invite active involvement by audiences, and installations outdoors and in public and private spaces that enliven the physical and cultural landscape of the city.

Your support ensures that we continue to commission, produce and present new performances and events that are unique to Launceston and its community of the highest quality by local, national and international professional artists to as wide an audience as possible in regional Tasmania.

The nature of the performances that Junction produces is inclusive and directly engages with audiences improving participation and engagement in the arts. With the support of our donors and partners, we are able to expand outreach and partnerships with the community, as well as develop new partnerships with organisations with disadvantaged communities in need of support from a socio-economic, marginalised, or health and wellbeing perspective to encourage social inclusion, civic engagement and pride of place through the arts. We believe by working with a range of organisations and individuals we can support increased understandings of social realities and social cohesion.

Your support, at any level, makes a significant contribution. No donation is too small.

Below are examples of how your contribution can make a difference:

$20 subsidises a child’s school visit performance ticket

$200 enables students and families to participate and collaborate

$500 contributes paying artist fees to feature Tasmania’s great local bands

$1,000 supports our youth, emerging artists and administrator to receive mentorship and training through internships and work placements

$25,000 funds the commissioning of a signature legacy performance unique to Launceston and made in collaboration with the local community
