We're looking for people with skills across finance, governance, arts, events, business and
stakeholder engagement to join our Volunteer Board of Directors to help lead the festival into
it's exciting 15th year and beyond.
The role of the Junction Arts Festival Board is to provide governance and strategic
leadership to the organisation and is comprised of people with a wide range of skills and
backgrounds, it is a working Board and members contribute their time and expertise to help
Junction excel. Membership of the Junction Board is stimulating, fun, challenging, and very
rewarding - you get to make a difference to the Tasmanian community and be a part of a
collaborative and creative team.
We are on the lookout for people with skills across:
● Finance
● Governance
● Arts
● Events
● Law
● Stakeholder Engagement (government, private enterprise, community, arts and creative
industries)
The board meets monthly, meetings start at 5.30pm and typically last three hours, board
members may also join sub-committees with additional meetings throughout the year.
Junction Board members are a committed, energetic and highly engaged group who love to
