This is an invitation to move, respond and summon fragments of wind and light and sound into being. “pieces of air dance the light” is a living, immersive environment inside a giant dome. Visitors enter a space where gesture tracking generates visual effects that merge with choreographed currents of air and projections, illuminating a vast suspended silk canopy. Billowing, breathing – the entire space is a luminous canvas where sound, motion and light merge into an ever-evolving luminous experience. An accompanying sound experience encourages many forms of physical expression. Whether languid flow is your jam, or storming up the dance floor, your actions shape a personalised encounter with light, air and sound, that makes this a once-off mesmerising experience. The installation celebrates the invisible forces that surround us, transforming human gestures into fleeting traces of light, atmosphere and collective imagination.
