Launceston outfit The Namesakes play melodic, song-focused rock ‘n’ roll with flashes of 60s pop, classic punk, British and Australian indie and American college rock. They have released two EPs, a self-titled debut in 2018 and Super Computer in the December of last year. The latter received positive reviews on several independent music blogs. They recently supported Custard for the Tasmanian leg of their Respect the Form of 2022 tour.
