Austin

Austin is the original Soul-Pop band project of Ruby Austin-Lund. Austin's lyrics come from the perspective of a 20-something year old woman navigating life and relationships; she draws from personal experience and writes about anything from loneliness & love to climate change & existentialism. Austin's piano driven sound draws inspiration from the likes of Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse and Carole King. The band have carved their way into Hobart’s music scene and can't wait to share with you what they've been working on at Junction.
