Re-embody
Interweave Arts

Re-embody - an illuminated, kinetic, dance performance / sculptural installation developed for Interweave Arts by lead artists Carmencita Palermo and Ralf Haertel, with participants from a diverse range of community groups. Re-embody is a dynamic, large-scale celebration of the inter- connections we make through movement and reconnecting with our bodies.

Interweave

Interweave is a Launceston based community arts organization that has been delivering a range of services and events into the region for over 20 years – including Access Arts Link, Streets Alive and REMADE. With the mission to empower communities through art, Interweave projects seek to contribute towards building a more creative and inclusive community.

Both Carmencita Palermo and Ralf Haertel have extensive experience in working directly with communities to create public art projects. Re-embody continues on from Wear it all Now, which they developed for REMADE 2018 as a pilot project. LINK to video
