RABBIT 6:50pm

RABBIT are a 4 piece Tasmanian rock and roll band based in Nipaluna/Hobart. Officially formed in 2020 after a year of passing around demo cassette canapes, they now serve ripping guitar music and sing melodic songs in a folk-singerly style, sort of like Fairport Convention dropped into that big CERN particle smasher, but instead of hydrogen atoms they smashed into Buzzcocks.

RABBIT

DENNI 8:10pm

DENNI is a proud pakana woman and artist based in Lutruwita/Tasmania. For close to a decade DENNI has been performing her original music around Australia. Moving from folk to electronic and now making big leaps into Hip Hop and as a recording Artist. Collaboration has been a big part of the Artists practice and this year has seen huge tracks like ‘Strongest Mob (ft. Craig Everett)’ reach national recognition.

Chase City 9:30pm

Chase City is a Hobart based electro-rock band with an electrifying on-stage presence. The band has been writing & producing their latest body of work with Northeast Party House's Malcolm Besley (City Calm Down, NPE, Slowly Slowly). The record channels the rave & dance sounds of the 90s. Chase City’s sound is full of glistening synths, warm vocals and driving beats.

A. Swayze + The Ghosts 10:50pm

Impassioned, ‘intelligent punk’ (DIY) group A. Swayze & the Ghosts are a potent force within the world of modern post-punk. Erupting into the scene with the critically acclaimed, “end to end faultless” (The Guardian) and ARIA nominated debut “Paid Salvation”, the band has been capturing the attention of global audiences with rousing music conceived by a nervy charge and drilled urgency as they “Understand that the point of punk wasn’t just to make a racket. It was to make a difference” (Louder Than War).

Led by the charismatic and enigmatic lead singer, Andrew Swayze, the Tasmanian four-piece has amassed a fervent following with their incendiary, and oftentimes, wild performances, reminding us that “Garage rock is still the best style of music when done well” (Double J).
