The return of Junction’s beloved Backyard Bands series that brings Tasmanian bands into the backyards of Launceston, discovering secret hideaways amongst the city. This year we’re taking over the yard of a newly developed East Launceston home; tucked away from the street like a hidden oasis.
Taking the stage is Funktional, an 8 piece funk band bringing three sets of the biggest and best tunes taking you through the journey of funk.
Junction acknowledges the Palawa people as the original and ongoing owners and custodians of Lutruwita. We pay our respects to elders past and present, and acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded.
