Songs For Our Planet

Join Junction’s Songs For Our Planet Choir

Calling all young singers, we want to hear you!

Junction Arts Festival is creating a unique choir that will perform 3 songs at the Songs for Our Planet concert at the Princess Theatre on Friday 3 September.

Inspired by the Global Youth Climate Strikes, the Songs For Our Planet Concert, one of the Festival’s main events, will bring together young Tasmanian singers, songwriters and musicians to have their say on the climate crisis through music and song.

It’s FREE to join the choir and anyone between the ages of 14-25 can participate. There are no auditions, you just need to sign up below, and come along to rehearsals.

Rehearsals are held twice a week at Launceston College in the lead-up to the concert. Launceston College’s resident voice coach, Travis Hennessy will run the rehearsals and direct both the Choir and the Songs for our Planet concert.
