Unearthly Frequencies is a versatile 5-piece band from Hobart, Tasmania, led by Prophecy. Known for their detailed and captivating performances, they play across genres like funk, soul, R&B, folk, and jazz. The band can adapt to different settings, performing as duos or trios when needed, while paying homage to the original artists they cover with authentic, engaging performances.
DJ Dameza, a master turntablist from Tasmania, combines traditional vinyl skills with cutting-edge audio-visual technology. Known for his electrifying live performances, he mixes genres like electronica, funk, and hip-hop with precision, earning accolades such as Australian Wax Wars champion and MONA’s resident DJ. Dameza’s innovative sets blend music, live visuals, and lighting to create immersive experiences, making him a go-to for festivals and collaborations, including with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and global artists like Pendulum and Afrika Bambaataa.
Proud truwlwulway woman and multi disciplinary artist Denni Proctor aka DENNI. A true voice of strength for her people in Lutruwita Tasmania and one of Australia’s most authentic and compelling rising storytellers and recording artist. DENNI is a true pioneer and has been at the forefront of sharing her pakana/ palawa culture and language in contemporary music, representing First Nations mob from the Apple Isle, with anthems like ‘Strongest Mob’ and ‘Lutruwita’ returning palawa kani (Tasmanian Aboriginal Language) back to its young, proud and culturally hungry generation.
Gee NT is a Tasmanian born and bred purveyor of the finest tunes and vibes to make you move. With a broad and diverse taste in music that spans many genres, his true love is house and all the iterations it brings, but he can often be found spinning tunes from breaks to techno and anything in between to keep the dance floor grooving. He is one half of the team that curates DiscOH! and is a regular at Tassie's premier festival Party in the Paddock, he has also been on support duties for plenty of artists over his musical career including Joeski, Emanuel Satie, Laura King and Serge Devant to name but a few.
