SUMNER

Sumner hail from the native woodlands of lutruwita / Tasmania. As a duo, Chloe and Jack explore themes of intimacy and isolation from their cold-climate doorstep. Their songwriting emits a warmth, lit by their unique perspectives as young Australians.

PARTY DOZEN

Party Dozen are a 2-piece from Sydney made up of Kirsty Tickle (saxophone) and Jonathan Boulet (percussion and sampler). Forming in 2017, they have become renowned in Australia for their incendiary live shows and three remarkable albums. Blending elements of psych, hardcore, no-wave and jazz, their largely instrumental sets are punctuated by Kirsty’s unique “singing” style, screaming into the bell of her saxophone, which goes through a bevvy of effects pedals.

CATHY DIVER

Like any good backyard chemist, Cathy Diver specialises in cooking the world around her into something fizzy, novel or transcendental. Swimming pool sunny, occasionally harrowing, with a psychedelic bent, Cathy’s songs are electrified by her astrologically compatible band. Cathy has toured significantly off the back of her first two singles, supporting the likes of Julia Jacklin, Tim Rogers and Carla Geneve, as well as co-forming indie label, Undine Records. 2024 has seen her perform with her band at Party in the Paddock, Great Escape Festival and MONA Foma, as well as supporting You Am I and The Dreggs.

MANKIND

Mankind is an exciting and melodic Gothic rock/post-punk project from NW Tas created by multi-instrumentalist Dan Cooper, a seasoned member of the Tasmanian original music scene, formerly of influential NW Grunge/Punk act DIRT. Effect laden, melodic bass lines are pushed to the fore as the lead instrument while rhythmic tom patterns and funk inspired big beats couple with harmonic droning synths to fill out the soundscape. Lyrics with a dark analysis of everyday life complete a truly hypnotic Gothic pop sound.

Formed in High School, their unique sound fuses smooth vocals and catchy riffs with an additional mix of reggae grooves. Middle Palms cites their influences from artists such as Coldplay, The Whitlams, and Ocean Alley, carving their own unique sound and connecting with a growing fanbase.

GEE NT

Gee NT is a Tasmanian born and bred purveyor of the finest tunes and vibes to make you move.

With a broad and diverse taste in music that spans many genres, his true love is house and all the iterations it brings, but he can often be found spinning tunes from breaks to techno and anything in between to keep the dance floor grooving.

He is one half of the team that curates DiscOH! and is a regular at tassies premier festival Party in the Paddock, he has also been on support duties for plenty of artists over his musical career including Joeski, Emanuel Satie, Laura King and Serge Devant to name but a few.
