Valerio Cavazza’s work is an extravagant collision of East and West, transforming brocade, gold filigree and saturated colour into a surreal vision of Baroque and Rococo excess. Drawing on the theatricality of historical dress while disrupting its codes, the work creates a lurid, luxurious decadence, a gold fever dream where royalty, fantasy and queer exuberance collide.
