Katie graduated from UTAS with a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts (Theatre) in 2005, then completed her Honours in Blacklight Puppetry, producing the experimental ultraviolet puppetry piece What’s under Adam?. She works as a venue, production, event, and stage manager, freelance technician, actor, puppeteer, stand-up comedian, and physical theatre performer. She has performed in One Day projects for Mudlark Theatre, Things I Know To Be True, The Season at Sarsaparilla and Noises Off for Three River Theatre, Improbable Fiction with the Launceston Players, the Launceston Musical Society’s production of Avenue Q, IO Performance’s Anatomy of a Suicide, Kill Climate Deniers and BLANK, and Happy Habits’ touring production of Stressica. She’s been pretty busy playing soccer and eating snacks of late, so hasn’t done comedy for flamin’ ages, and is likely feeling like saying yes to Riff Raffle was a pretty big swing.
