Captain O’Brien’s Craic are a seven-piece Celtic punk band from Launceston, lutruwita/Tasmania, leaning into the island’s convict past, bushranger tradition and deep Irish roots. Rollicking tales of the sea, rebellion and island life come to life in high-octane rock-punk shows, with several members’ musical theatre backgrounds giving the storytelling real dramatic punch.
